papalazaroo
I've seen most of the doctor Who Episodes, Thanks to UKTV gold. They were all good, but the Best by my opinion Has got to be Tom Baker..."jelly baby any one!"
CrusadrMoron
I haven't seen all the Doctors. However I think my choice of Tom Baker less based on merit and more on biology. He looks errily similar to my father. Must be the European in his blood.
coolcat13
I have seen every doctor excluding the movie which I understand was very contrary to Dr Who cannon .I will exclude him and rate the others as follow 1-Pertwee 2-Tom Baker 3-Christopher Eccleston 4-Peter Davison these 4 are neck and neck followed by 5-Patrick Troughton 6-William hartnell 7-Sylvester McCoy 8- Colin Baker that bieng said I really did not dislike any of the Drs and part of that may be skewered by the fact that i havent seen alot of the 6th and 7th Drs either btw we could easily ignore the movie and call Eccleston the 8th Doctor with out ruining the Dr Who Cannon
Recoilzed
Wow, McCoy over C. Baker eh? I loved his entrance (for I too would love to choke Perry)The Twin Dilemma McCoy just seems the least believeable to me, I really tried to like him, but for me the show was cancelled after McCoy became doctor......Ace demolision(sorry, uneducated) specialist .....the final nail..... I have only seen a couple of his.... someone help me like him
coolcat13
I know there is a lot of hostility towards Davison because he came right after Tom Baker and there is Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy who both get a share of the blame for not bieng able to save the show with thier acting/portrayal of the Dr. perhaps this was a good idea having the down time to crteate newer fresher episodes ,a new underlying plot and some new fresher faces .I really do not blame these actors for Dr Who's cancellation ,I think that the show had run its course at the time and that no actor would have been able to salvage it with the posiable exception of a Tom Baker return .I just think that the material was flat for the last few Drs ....just my humble opinion
blues02
Pertwee. He had the wit, the style, and the attitude that no other Doctor could match. Unlike Troughton & Baker he never "bumbled" onto a solution. Pertwee was incapable of bumbling in any manner. He did everything with style and grace. Plus his run was filled with battles against The Roger Delgado Master. I'd rank them thusly. J. Pertwee T. Baker P. Troughton P. McGann (could have been great on TV, but is great in the audios) C. Eccleston P. Davidson W. Hartnell C. Baker S. McCoy Cushing isn't a true Dr. Who so I don't even consider him. Hartnell may rise in the ratings as I find more of his episodes to view.
