Weyoun
There is a stargate movie?? Yup. It was the basis for the series. But used different people, except Dr. Jackson, I think. Been a while since I've watched it. Really good movie.
RagenWrongly
James Spader played Jackson, Kurt Russell played O'neil and notice the O'Neil in the movie only has one "L" to Andersons two "L's."
wahaha
Actually the only people from the original movie that are in the TV series is that rastafarian looking dude with dreadlocks and the bald dude who was the father of jacksons wife. Alexis Cruz, Erick Avari I didn't d/l this movie since it's over 1GB, even if it has added footage.
S0V13T
Hey! I just finished downloading this torrent. The movie it's self sure beats my old VHS copy, but I was very happy to see the included file, witch was a mini documentery on Erich Von Draken, author of "Chariot of the Gods". Very nice pakage indeed :)
Ulysses
I love the orginal movie, hope they plan a new film at some point as well
macrovirus
I downloaded it a few days ago - I was very pleased. I remeber seeing it when I was a little kid and loving it. I also remeber anticipating the series, SG1 when it came out, but never really got into it. But I still think the film is great. I actually thought that Jackson in the series and in the movie were the same actor, but not having seen the series for so long, I guess I was wrong. They do look very much alike. But, I do love the film, and I'm sure it will be watched many more times to come. Great quality!
Vektram
I don't like the Stargate movie, it's to corny and Kurt Russel for my liking. :( Your rip was very good RagenWrongly, thanks for uploading it as well :D
howiepoohs
I loved the movie thanks dude! I saw the end half on BBC1 about week before so was glad when you upped it. I did watch it years ago when it first came out and loved it then. Its how the series should have been and was for a short while. The extra bit was very dodgy though and that bloke seems like a looney.
quosego
Good movie but I should have watched it before I watched the seasons.....
Vektram
Good movie but I should have watched it before I watched the seasons..... Since you enjoyed it you should've. Personally that's what made me despise Stargate for ages, I feel cheated :p
Celestra
I loved the movie, but didn't really like the series. I don't think RDA's take on O'Neil was as good as Kurt Russel's. He still just reminded me of MacGuyver too much, too often and I couldn't take him seriously in the role, too bad because I thought the casting of Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks & Christopher Judge was excellent. I saw a few episodes that grabbed me then went back to watch the rest. In the end it grew to be one of my favorites.

Could you make it a little larger and clearer? After making it clearer/larger you might want to go over to the Ten Forward section and get it rated in the "Rate the avatar above yours...part 2" thread. And, ah, yes. Stargate movie good. deeman
Great movie! Saw it in theatres as soon as it came out and liked it a lot because of the way it nicely tied history into sci-fi and that the sci-fi part was believable for out times. I liked Sci-Fi that was current day based and kept our technology limited to what actually exists today.
