VonHelton
The ratings for the final six episodes are going to be very low. Did you forget? Cyrus already told us that Bound is going to be pre-empted in a record 12 percent of households. NYC will be pre-empted on April 22, 29, and May 6 for Yankees games; that's the biggest US market. ENT will be also be pre-empted for the duration in Boston. The ratings are going to suck. With all those pre-emptions they won't even break 3 million.

VonHelton
In a nutshell: If you live in a large city, expect the new episodes of ENT to be pre-empted.

mic
evil UPN, guys boycott UPN, write to UPN sponsors saying you are going to boycott them if they continue to advertise on UPN, down with UPN...
NiteShdw
What does "pre-emption" mean? It means that some UPN stations will air other programs in the same time slot that Enterprise is in. In other words, instead of Enterprise, some channels will be showing baseball. Viewers in those cities will never get to see the last episodes (unless they download them). VonHelton
UPN stands for United Paramount Network.... But yeah. it sucks. I meant the channel, as opposed to the corporation, but yea, Paramount owns UPN. :stare:
seeth
For the ratings, this does suck!!!! Be sure to set your PVR, or be around if your channel plays a weekend encore. I really hope Spike will pick this up, the future is just forming itself on Enterprise. I love seeing how the birth of the Federation started! The Cast is overall very good! The writing has been pretty good! I thought Fox was the only cancel happy network. Part of me Died inside when they did in Dark Angel! str82u
I have the good fortune of having a job with a satellite DVR, so I have an easy way to capture stuff, UPN doesn't pre-empt here and does rebroadcast onSunday night, but the real truth is, UPN IS NOT the network for Enterprise. If you look at the bulk of thier programming, you can tell that the veiwership is not geared toward Sci-Fi. I don't know what goes on with them outside of Pennsylvania, but the only time I watch UPN is for Enterprise and I Might...MIGHT...stick around to watch Twilight Zone. Fear Factor holds no intrest for me any more than the urban programming that's on the rest of the week. I agree that a channel like Spike is good, but Sci-Fi Channel has done wonders for shows in the past, I would love to see that first. A real broadcast network would be better though so everyone has equal access to veiwing.

And they do this after giving us over a month with no new episodes!!! These are sadistic sub-human creatures! Perhaps they wish to encourage downloading and sharing of episodes? Is it vampires, like Angel was? :stare: If I recall, dark angel was about a girl (Jessica Alba, hot!) who was expiremented on or something, and turned superhuman. And there were others like her, so I think most of it was her trying to find them... Could be wrong. Been a few years since I have seen it.. :)
Finner
Why would they even do that? You would assume if their complaining about how much an episode of enterprise costs to make they would.....try and get SOMETHING out of it?
vystral
I must speak my peace... Basketball or any other sport can be aired any old time. I live in a big city with a UPN station and I don't know a single person who gives a $h!t about basketball. Let us trekkies have our day. This is complete bull$h!t.
