Antilles
Eh? Can you elaborate a little further? Stars? Actor stars? Naaah hardly, Simon Callow is probably the biggest, then just Eccleston & Piper. Hardly FULL!
coolcat13
ep 3 was tremendous and ep 4 shows even more promise .Could there be a reintroduction of unit ? I am definitely stoked as this is promising to be some of the best Dr Who of all time (have been watching it since i was a kid and seen a great majority of it .) If the US does not pick up this series they will be missing out on some great stuff .I wish I could just get the rest of the season right now . It really has me in suspense . I have a feeling that The Dr somehow goofed in the time war and maybe blew an opportunity to save his race .It will be interesting to see if they tie in the Time war with the old Dr Who show
Antilles
Aaaah, never did watch 2001 properly, even tho I love Arthur C. Clarke, ahem, not in the biblical sense. As for tieing the Time War up with the classic series, ooooh, could be numerous things. But if you listen to what the Gelf said during the seance "The whole Universe convulsed, the Time War raged, invisible to smaller species but devastating to higher forms." Must have been an almighty battle, were the TimeLords or one or several rogues behind it? What about links to the Warlord or War Chief in Troughtons 'War Games' which I just watched recently again. That brought some theories to mind. Then there was stories deep in Gallifrey lore, Deadly Assassin, Invasion Of Time, Trial Of A Time-Lord (Valeyard). Ack no I better stop now, there could be numerous reasons, well just have to wait and see. But Im sure the Gelf survived somehow in 1869 and have been 'sleepers' and this alien spacecraft we see in Ep 4 trailer has something to do with it. Im still making connections somehow between what Gwyneth said about the Big Bad Wolf, the TARDIS having the same name on it, and the people unzipping there foreheads to reveal 'blue elementals??' Stabbing in the dark again but its too exciting to just not say anything hehe! Blimey, imagine what would be said if we had forums and the internet back in the classic days of Who. :)

CrusadrMoron
Spoilers- Zombies, Christmas, Dickens End Spoilers- Darn was that a great piece of Who. We have mystery and a really nice use of practical effects to create menace with the gas lights twitching. :cyclops:
Antilles
Something else I forgot to mention earlier, apart from the non-movement of the console on take-off theres somewhat of a dialogue error when Dickens arrives at Sneeds and Gwyneth tells him they are closed he replies with... "Since when did undertakers keep office hours, the dead dont die on schedule!" It never hit me straight away, but the DEAD do NOT Die at all, its the living who die. :)
