Oh man, that sounds as bad as any of the speculations I've read. Is there going to be any point to Riker recreating this 'historic event'?

They might as well have sent Daniels over to congratulate Archer. "Congratulations, Jonathan. You did it exacly like I told you a few years ago. Well, gotta go, I have to save your @ss last week." After that the camera pulls back, showing earth and then the rest of our solar system while yet another crappy remix of the main title is played. In the last few frames we may see Brannon Braga's reflection in the window spaceship with tears rolling down his cheeks.

I must admit I found this bit amusing though:

"If you go on some of those fan sites, you'd think I was one of the worst war criminals," Braga told the paper. "And I make the mistake of reading this stuff every day. [...] They say that I killed Star Trek. That my work was so crappy that I got Enterprise cancelled. There's a small but vocal group of people who have been lambasting me ever since The Next Generation."

I look forward to seeing the last five episodes of ENT. I just hope the're better than Bound. That was one crummy episode of Star Trek. It even tried to copy the laughing that plagued TOS and even TNG. Not that the laughing was that bad, it was corny, but not that bad for the time in which it was made some forty years ago. So, who's looking forward to seeing T'Pol with long hair and a midriff? I'm much more interested in seeing the Defiant than T'Pol or Hoshi being abused by the evil people.

Excapt for the six years in the future part, this is pretty much how I figured it was going to be. Riker is going to play parts in a holodeck sim to learn something that we could care less about, it's not like we'll see this on any upcoming episodes of either show, and skipping ahead to the future means "in the mirror darkly" is close enough to a final episode as any.

Even if the finale is a complete brain fart, I will still download it, so that I have a complete set.

After reading around a few places talking about the finale, it seems that BB has done a fine job to degrade the ENT cast/series by making "The most important episode" some holodeck adventure for a guy in another series...

And then there's the other apparent plot twist that no ENT fan will appreciate... :o
