Grillguy and I will ride together and he has a Ford Aerostar, but optimaly we'd have a Kia Sedona so that would make room for 5 passengers either way if they all pack as light as we do (1 small case). 3) Provo-NiteCON I thought the point of this was to meet somewhere other than cyber-space. 4) Anytime after June 15 5) 10 in desire but 8 in possiblity If we could pick up ppl to throw in on the gas that would pretty much guarantee our attendance. ISRAEL – yes that is a completely different country! 2. Probably not since we are renting a car, but would be appreciated if possible. 3. Anywhere at all is great as long as it takes place and not just talk! The only thing is since I don't know the US at all I would like to be provided with instructions on how to get to the location. (from New York or Miami haven’t decided yet as to were I'll be staying). 4. Update: Tenatively: Location: Provo, Utah, USA (or nearby campgrounds ;) ) Date: the week surrounding Sat, August 13 Activities: Wow at my tracker setup, watch all 4 seasons of Enterprise back-to-back-to-back-to-back, complement Nite's wife on her precious little baby girl (due July 2), watch all 7 seasons of TNG, thrown in some Dr. Who, BSG, and some Halo 2 of course Note: The list of activities has not yet been finalized Travel: The nearest airport is Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC) which is only about 35 minutes away. Anyone planning on traveling by plane should arrive there. I'm willing to detour off the 15 a bit - especially if you're in the middle third of the journey and can put us up for the night (Probably Thursday) - that'd be worth a much longer detour. fakungabubu Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 1) QLD, Australia 2) Won't be able to leave the country (have 3 month old daughter), so no ride needed/provided. 3) Could help organise a local NiteCON/meetup or attend by webcam. 4) Pretty much available any time barring unforseen events. 5) 8 (committed barring being too tired due to looking after my little girl -- Nite you will soon see just how difficult it is -- oh and babies don't always come on time so be prepared for yours to be up to 2 1/2 weeks late. I drive a small car, so i can fit another 3 people. 3) I could attent the con where it is, i would more like to attent a local one 4) available weekends 5) 7 as long as anyone else needs a ride from where i live to there. thats san jose, north to san francisco and str8 east on 80 to utah. if you live remotely around the path i'm taking, let me know and i'll pick you up. i know its a bit late to post this, but i just saw it today and i'd be interested to go. i don't want to drive that long distance alone tho. i'd like someone to at least drive a couple hours or just sit and entertain me.
