Sci Fi dying.............Deffo NOT!!

afew weeks ago someone stated that Sci-Fi was on the decine with the cancellation of enterprise, after the last few months I know think that this is totally incorrect.

 

Two reasons, BSG and the new Who series, I dont know who agrees but I think its getting stronger with completely different ideas on what Sci-Fi is.

It's getting stronger in Europe, but declining in the USA.

 

Sad, but true. Most of the "big dog" companies here in the USA consider space-faring sci-fi as too expensive.

i looked last week on the members that are apart of nites site, I think that the UK is about 1000 members behind the USA and is second biggest contry that are members of nites site.

stargate and stargate atlantis are made and produced in toronto canada i believe. I could be wrong tho.
