Hmmmmm cold fusion has happened..... but with crystals..gee didnt we see something that bout 20 years ago when scotty was whining all the time about how the dilithum crystals just couldnt take the strain capn'......oddly prophetic once again from star trec...check out the link

About the thingy: to bad it doesn't really provide us with a usefull source of energy. So, no fusion power for us mere humans yet...

screw the oil companies!!!!! build your own!!! i am working on my own prototype my self based on the notes from the articles.....i should be able to give it more attention after i get all the bugs worked out of my 429 powered lawnmower,,,working on trying to break the light speed barrier with it should have both up and running by mid-summer

For a long time now, I have felt that using crystals, or crystalline substances, would be a key to "our future," mainly in regards to energy sources and propulsion devices.

 

Sand particles are basically crystals, seems to me power can be derived from them.

THe first nuclear pile was a giant useless peice of crap...and I mean giant. A few years later they made a bomb with not much more material the the size of your fist.

 

 

They said we couldn't split the atom, and we did. They said we couldn't fuse the atom and we did. They said we couldn't create cold fusion, and we did. Now the easy part is making it usefull. In time, it will happen. Fission took only a few years, fusion was even less.
