Well, since enterprise's demise is now set in stone heres a list of shows in development at UPN to replace enterprise.

R U The Girl With T-Boz & Chilli

UPN's cameras will follow every step of the way as T-Boz and Chilli, the two remaining members of TLC, one of the biggest-selling female groups of all time, embark on an exciting journey to discover one lucky and talented female performer who will join them in an upcoming concert and record with them in the studio. For eight weeks, UPN will be there as T-Boz and Chilli put the aspiring performers through a rigorous series of challenges where they will be testing, judging and eliminating the potential artists to find the one who might just be the perfect fit, in UPN's new dramality series R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI.

20 Things to Do Before You're 30

A group of twentysomething friends band together and create a list of 20 things they want to accomplish before the age of 30 in UPN's predictably titled adaptation of the comedy that aired on Channel 4. Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland ("King of the Hill," "Kid Notorious") will write the pilot and executive produce.

Everybody Hates Chris

UPN has given the green light to "Everybody Hates Chris," a single-camera comedy executive produced by Chris Rock.

Produced by Paramount Network Television, "Everybody Hates Chris" is inspired by the childhood experiences of Rock, who will narrate the pilot. Executive produced by Rock, Ali LeRoi and 3 Arts Entertainment's Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky, the project is a coming-of-age comedy through the eyes of the eldest of three children in a strict family who attends a predominantly white school in 1980s Brooklyn.

The show originally was developed as a pilot for Fox last season, when it was produced by 20th Century Fox TV.

The Show with AJ Calloway

"The Show with AJ Calloway," which is being produced by Sony Pictures TV and Handprint Entertainment, will try for a "Larry Sanders Show"-style look at the life of Calloway's alter ego, the host of a late-night talk show. Offstage issues involving former girlfriends, intrusive family members and friends complicate his work life.

Calloway has hosted "106 & Park" since its debut in 2000. He's also appeared on several other BET (which, like UPN, is part of Viacom) shows and specials and in the feature film "Drumline."

David Goetch, Benny Medina, Jeff Pollack and Evan Weiss are executive producing the pilot. Calloway will receive a co-exec producer credit along with Mike Brillstein and Adam Lublin.

The Studio

Big-shot producer Joel Silver, whose company is behind UPN's "Veronica Mars," has landed another pilot at the network. The Silver pilot, called "The Lot," will focus on young Hollywood as seen through the eyes of several twentysomethings who work at a studio, the showbiz trade papers report. Dana Baratta ("Dawson's Creek," "North Shore") is writing the pilot script and will executive produce with Silver.

Jennifer Gwartz and Danielle Stokdyk of Silver Pictures will serve as producers.

Triangle (2005)

"Triangle" is about a young doctor whose wife mysteriously disappears during their Caribbean honeymoon. To find out what happened, he stays on the island, tending to the medical needs of the residents and resort visitors.

Wingwoman

"Wingwoman" is about a woman who helps guys meet women by acting as a go-between in social situations -- an apparently burgeoning business in the matchmaking world, according to several recent newspaper and magazine trend stories. This being TV, the lead character's own love life is a mess.

"Late Night with Conan O'Brien" vet Andrew Secunda wrote the pilot, and Adam Chase ("Friends"), Warren Littlefield, Mark Burg and Oren Koules will executive produce it.

Crazy

UPN has greenlit a Spelling TV show called "Crazy," about a female psychiatrist who draws insight on her own life through the issues of her patients. Sarah Thorp wrote the script and will executive produce with Aaron Spelling, E. Duke Vincent and Ed Zuckerman.

South Beach (2005)

Jennifer Lopez, is executive producing a new pilot for UPN. The netlet has given a late order to the ensemble drama "South Beach."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Phillip Levens ("Smallville") wrote the pilot, which looks at three young adults who follow their dreams to Miami. Lopez's Nuyorican Prods., Tony Krantz's Flame TV and Paramount TV will co-produce with star Jennifer Lopez, business partner Simon Fields and Krantz executive producing.

Talk Show Diaries (2005)

"Talk Show Diaries" is a new comedy pilot that was executive produced by Courteney Cox (Friends) and David Arquette.

Kathleen Rose Perkins ("Without a Trace"), Tami Roman ("The Real World: Los Angeles"), Richard T. Jones ("Judging Amy") and Richard Ruccolo ("Two Guys And A Girl") have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about the brutally honest, fiercely loyal and incredibly complex on- and off-camera exploits of the three female hosts of a morning talk show. Rowe will play Blake Brown, who's described in the casting notice as: 30s. A handsome man. He's the executive producer of "Friends in the Morning. However, he's under no illusion that he's the "boss" of his dynamic all-female stars. Blake has a huge crush on the formidably cool and reserved Zoe, but he can't figure out what her story is, or her sexual orientation. Meanwhile, he keeps snooping around in hopes of getting a handle on the situation, but so far he's still very much in the dark.

Jones then is set as Jerry: Late 20s to early 30s. A handsome, cool, African-American ladies' man. He's the show's head hairstylist. In other words, he is the supreme power on the set. Always in the know about everything, he keeps his confidence and gets along with the show's stars - who are well aware that, if they cross Jerry, they will eventually end up looking like Donald Trump. Roman is believed to be playing Zoe: Late 20s to early 30s. The third co-host of "Friends in the Morning". She's an attractive, brilliant, cool and energetic woman who keeps her private life just that - private. A graduate of Harvard University, Zoe specializes in decor and fashion, although she has her sights set on climbing the ladder into hard news. Unflappable, with a dry wit, she lets very little faze her - but even she is shocked to learn that Windsor's apparently perfect marriage is history.

Finally, Perkins will play Marion: Early 20s. She's a quintessential California girl who was a lowly weathergirl in a local market until she got a break that landed her on "Friends in the Morning," a popular national show. A bit of a third wheel, Marion is trying hard to fit in. A resounding success with viewers, she's finding it harder to win over her more experienced co-hosts, Windsor [Nancy Travis] and Zoe. Deceptively ditzy, Marion is actually more intelligent than she first appears. She is continually trying to woo Blake, but to no avail. Sweet, sincere and well-meaning, Marion is deeply concerned when she discovers that Windsor's marriage is in trouble, and she's not the kind of woman who can easily disguise her feelings - even on the air. Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Allison Gibson are the executive producers of the project, which comes from Touchstone Television and Coquette Productions.

Wildlife

UPN's "Wildlife" comedy-drama is about a group of 20-somethings living in the hip Hollywood community of Silver Lake.

My god, those replacement shows really are plain awful. :shreek:

Do those smart marketing folks over there really think that anyone who has been watching Enterprise with fervor will actually EVER want to watch ANY of those absolutely LAME shows? Duh...

I guess they just want to attract a different audience, one that doesn't copy and share the show they love probably. Even more likely: people who watch those shows don't want to share them because even they don't really like 'em.

Death to the executives at the top!!!!

Don't worry' date=' the only reason I watched it in the first place was for Trek. (the only reason I watched any TV at all)[/quote']

I just hope more fans do the same instead of watching the rest or any of their crap left on there.

Y'all know what's going to be ironic? If things continue the way they have at UPN, they are going to kill the next show in that time slot, then replace it, kill that one...with all the preemting and poor advertising they will screw the next bunch of actors, and maybe fans.

Another thing you can tell about the network is all the urban programming, it's not meant for any kind of serious sit down/shut up programs like this. The attention span of thier average viewer isn't long, about the distance between commercials.

I'm not trying to seem like a jerk or bitter, I used to work in advertising and in the media business, it's still interesting to me, so I can see these trends, one of which being that some of the half hour shows had billboards, radio adds and even spots on other cable channels, but Enterprise didn't. What do you expect.

That and the preemting (dead horse) in major markets... if they did that here, you might lose 100,000 veiwers, probably nowhere near that, but New York and LA...oh poop!

I was going to comment on something but I just got done watching some show on UPN and now I can't remember what I was going to post. Could this be some new type of nefarious mind control. I'm sure...I think...was I saying something? Why am I posting? I'm getting dizzy...

ALL HAIL UPN! REPEAT AFTER ME ... ALL HAIL UPN!

:p :p :p
