VonHelton
FREE DOWNLOAD......COMPLETELY LEGAL "Revelations" is a non-profit Star Wars fan film that was shot within the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC Metro Area. "Revelations" is made possible through a combined effort of artists, fans and the local film industry. Everyone who has worked on "Revelations" is a volunteer. No one is paid to make this film. Panic Struck Productions set out to produce their first independent film with a very small budget and the result is "Revelations" More....... http://www.panicstruckpro.com/revelations/revelations_main.html ;) :cyclops:

karimw786
Another fan flick eh? I'll download it, but I hope it's better than New Voyages, a fan series made by fans of TOS. I'm holding you responsible Von if it sucks! ;)
Sunrise
How can someone put something like this together and not seem to care about the quality of the acting or the script. Brilliant effects .. top class, except for maybe the sabre fight in the temple but that involved the actors. Really let down by the weak script and its delivery to the point of being cringworthy at times.
GeneralLee
There are/were 4 torrents for this on Nite's tracker recently. http://niteshdw.com/torrents-search.php?search=Revelations&cat=0&cat=0&incldead=0 Von, it may just be me, but http://www.panicstruckpro.com/ and that link, will not load here, at least as I type this. daffydk
for a fan film, its pretty good. The special effects are almost the same as real star wars film. But the Sound quality sucks!!! I could have done better with my computer microphone and a free sound mixer. Sometimes its hard to hear the person talk because of the background noise. Maybe its my copy that I downloaded from this site. Otherwise its pretty good for an extremely low budget film.

I've watched the first 10 minutes of the 42-minute "movie" so far, and I gotta say so far so good. I do agree with daffy that the dialogue is hard to understand due to background sounds. Although the visual effects are on the same par as real Star Wars movies. Indeed, I recommend you checking it out!

Brilliant effects .. top class, except for maybe the sabre fight in the temple but that involved the actors. I'm with you there, it's a very good initiative, but the acting and the dialogues plainly suck! Special effects are top knotch however. Still, it's certainly worth the effort to download and watch this one. And these people certainly deserve credit for going through the trouble of creating this 'movie' entirely for free! Lukeyson
The background sounds appear to be all low Hz stuff. My subwoofer was rattling my walls even after I turned it down all through the dialogue sequences. Lukeyson

ratboy
I thought that it was visually stunning. Almost as good as the films from Lucasfilm. I agree that the acting and storyline were kind of weak in places. But overall, I really enjoyed it. I had no problems with sound in the version I downloaded. bbbb
Is it any good though compared to the real Star Wars movies?
ratboy
Depends on which Star Wars movies you mean. Original Trilogy good? No. Episode One good? (Wait. Isn't that an oxymoron?) I think it's definitely worth the download. If only for the special effects.
gjnave
That was incredible.... the CGI was great for not being a studio... and pretty darn good if it had been! A+
bbbb
Looks interesting. How did all these volunteers find the time to make a Star Wars film?
ratboy
They apparently are haveing trouble with their site. Some of the links don't work and their forum has changed three times in as many weeks. Oh well, still worth the download.
Detor
I liked it. But not able to understand what they are talking about most of the time because the sounds were mixing. Hope they can make another one in 10 years time.
