tisjusme
Cats set off allergies when I a touch them. Dogs are a different story. I have grown up with 'pure-bred' show dogs that my parents used breed. My missus and I now have 2 pure Rotweillers and 1 rottie cross kelpie. Bloody Handfull at times. S0V13T
I voted in favor of Fish ( in an aquarium). I have a blue Beta (Asian fighting fish) named Incomplete Software, Is for short. It's awesome, put a mirror up to the tank, and he goes nuts trying to attack his reflection
Oma
Rottweilers can be cute - but also very... energetic... growing up. When I was a child we had a 'Heinz 57' - strong as hell and more graceful than a racehorse. But he eventually became too agressive and 'went to live on a farm'. Didn't get that since we already lived in the country side... Later on we got ½labrador/½golden retriever. She was cute.. She loved fang wrestling (you grab the canines on both sides and shake) and digging up carrots. Not much into cats - you can't go exploring with a cat, they just bugger off... EDIT: I voted in favor of Fish ( in an aquarium). I have a blue Beta (Asian fighting fish) named Incomplete Software' date=' Is for short. It's awesome, put a mirror up to the tank, and he goes nuts trying to attack his reflection[/quote'] Yeah..I just tried that with my zebrafish....they just seem to enjoy the extra company...
Weyoun
We have a couple of dogs. The larger one a big mutt, the part that stands out the most in him is rhodesian ridgeback. We call him tricky, since he can open gates and even some doors, if the door knob is loose enough for him to turn. He is really cool. The other is this little annoying chihuahua. Sometimes he is ok, but a lot of the time he is this stupid yapping dog. So yeah, I love dogs, but not the little ones, for the most part.

daffydk
Fish in aquarium, a big enough one where they dont feel trapped. Also, dont you guys think its cruel to catch fish and then release them just for fun? The hook usualy injurs the fish after they bite on it. I am not into fishing so I dont know any more humane way to catch fish and then release them. But this particular way seems cruel just for sport. In fact you can guess what I feel about all kinds of hunting just for SPORT.
nuages
I had a half border collie, half lab. Recently died though :( which is really weird cause I grew up with that dog for most of my life and it really became part of the family and was extremelly loyal. Right now I can't imagine having any other pet other then her.
Guest c4evap
Dogs (barking rats - below 3 kg) That's funny. Cats. I love cats. My cat Tigger passed away about two months ago and I miss him very much. Not ready for another yet. c4evap :(
str82u
Iguanas are living here. They are not quite pan-size yet, one is friendly enough to climb out on a hand, the other runs the whole time the cage is open. Both are entertaining though, they like to climb to the top of the cage, then drop into the water dish below (about 4 inches deep from 30 inches up)
Recoilzed
I have a yellow lab, and I love him, but at times I would prefer a sponge.....

NiteShdw
I grew up with mostly cats but there was always at least one dog around too (I grew up on 2 acres, so the animals lived outside). We also had a sheep and rabbits for 4H. Now that I'm out of the house, I'm not really interested in getting any pets. Cats and dogs never belong inside a residence, they just stink up the place and get hair everywhere. You always know when you go into someone's house that has animals inside. I voted opposite sex, because right now, the only thing I have to take care of is my wife. After that, there's not much energy left over to care for anything else ;) (kidding)

Umm I had two collies (like the dog in the show lassie) one female (bout 70 pounds) and one male (bout 95 pounds)... Awesome dogs, super smart, and friendly.
