Ahem. Anyway' date=' has anyone heard of Krav Maga? I wanted to learn it a while back and well.. no one in Glasgow teaches it.[/quote']

Disgraceful, be true to your roots and get a straight razor ;) after my one Hogmanay in Paisley, I don't think Glaswegians need much combat training, I think its in their DNA

refering back to the gun thread, in this poxy country a shotguns about the best you can legally hope for, though why the hell anyone would want a .480 Ruger pistol! astounds me, I thought the mastadon was extinct

I mean over kill is all very well but should not be applied to the five innocent bystanders and passing armoured car behind the target

I tried a few martial arts in my youth but if god wanted me to bust my hands up he wouldn't have allowed firearms to develop :p

えっ?意味分からん!

Um... Google translator for the win, not sure if it would have made sense.

"I call to my cousin" style is where you call to your cousin, who comes and beats up your enemy for you. It's similar to "My dad's bigger than yours"

お主に日本語分かりますか?

You are right, it made little sense, save for the context you presented.

What I'm more impressed with is your grasp of colloquial Japanese.

Good on ya!
