dsw182
There is mention to "Skaniska" in the press reports section of the UNIT site. Talks about soldiers being killed in Russia and extreme chemical warnings.

coolcat13
who is The Dr ? is actually a good question what he is = a Galifreyan,a TimeLord(time traveler from another planet) but who he is may actually be an enigma. There is a secret never learned about the doctors origins .as close as they ever came to revealing it was Silver Nemesis .if the movie was correct then that secret maybe that he is half human or that may only be a part of it . we dont really know everything about the Dr who travels in time ;)
Fenriswolf
Which is why we keep coming back to it, the fact that we don't know everything and can speculate is one of the biggest draws I think - of the whole series. We can create as much or as little history/pre-history for the Doctor as we want, if we're wrong we'll probably find the truth out in the end - but if we're right it's a good feeling in a way. Perhaps this is why it's one of the oldest and longest running sci-fi shows on the planet :)
petra1989
The other interesting thing about the Doctor is that he is 900 years old. The stories about him started when he was, about 500 give or take. So there is so much out there we could find out about him. Yet every revelation makes you ask more questions. So much fun. Fenriswolf
Which is how good storytelling and writing should be. Once you stop questioning or hypothesising something - once you know all you think you know about it, is when it becomes kind of lack-lustre. This is why I love mysteries and secrets especially in a TV show like this. Best thing to happen to British Television in a long time imho. petra1989
The Unit one has updated, and true to their word the passwords are changed. instead of typing in bison, try badwolf Interesting....... B)
path
I'm unable to read any of the emails or comments on the unit site (captain yates warning? o_0) .... whenever I enter the password buffalo it puts up the prompt for the override code. If I enter bison it makes me blow up the world. PS : oh nm, using badwolf worked. Someone mentioned posts by Captain Yates and something about Sarah Jane Smith? Fenriswolf
Oooh very interesting re: UNIT site, very interesting indeed. Some of those messages are from members of the general public, on many of Clive's reports you can write in with sightings of the Dr yourself - a couple of friends of mine actually got theirs picked. petra1989
Both sites have updated again. The unit site is very interesting, from the "bad wolf" perspective. But the link I found is on the Whois site. http://www.unit.org.uk/press/bombs.shtml
madjo
On the Unit site the Press Briefing of the "Ruffcut" File sharing virus is a nice touch ;)... Please don't download pirate material from the internet for the foreseeable future.
