galaxy quest all da way! saying Schwartz instead of penis is only funny for 0.0672349 seconds.

Besides, galaxy quest emulates Star Trek, and space balls emulates Star Wars. Guess which one i connect to alot more? :p

Both!

Agreed. But both have their weak spots, too:

- Spaceballs is partially pretty childish

- Galaxy Quest takes itself a bit too serious for a parody

Conclusion: A mixture of them would be an ass kicking movie B)

Galaxy Quest. Spaceballs was infantile humor.

Galaxy Quest was really good because of the usual reason a movie is really good. The actor truly identifies with his role.

The star, I forget his name, had just ended his 10 year long series on TV. He was an ex alcoholic. He really was the washed up person with no faith in himself that you see in the movie. It wasn't acting. That is how he truly felt in real life.

The same thing with Sigourney Weaver. She was reaching the end of her movie career and she felt in real life the way her character was supposed to feel.

I need to watch that movie again to get all the details straight. It was kind of heart breaking to see Tim Allen, that was his name, go thru all that soul searching.
