BorisP Posted May 19, 2005 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Galaxy Quest. Spaceballs was infantile humor. Galaxy Quest was really good because of the usual reason a movie is really good. The actor truly identifies with his role. The star, I forget his name, had just ended his 10 year long series on TV. He was an ex alcoholic. He really was the washed up person with no faith in himself that you see in the movie. It wasn't acting. That is how he truly felt in real life. The same thing with Sigourney Weaver. She was reaching the end of her movie career and she felt in real life the way her character was supposed to feel. I need to watch that movie again to get all the details straight.
