Fenriswolf
Just for comparison, since the thread seems to be a good resource for Whoness. McGann's The brand new one http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fa/Ecclestonconsole.jpg I intentionally didn't put that link up as a pic, since it would have ruined the flow of the thread. 1963: Hartnell's The Five Doctors: Peter Davidson's console room. petra1989
Hmmm... about Susan... would she not also be a time lord' date=' complete with regenerations etc? What happened to her?[/quote'] Last tiem we saw her was in the Five Doctors. She was supposed to be in London rebuilding after the Dalek war there. I think in the Five Doctors she recognized Galifrey right away. But that might not make her a time lord. If memory serves (which it might not) Not all Gallifreians are Time Lords. Fenriswolf
It seems that RTD is taking into account the idea of Time Traveller DNA (An effect of the TARDIS) -- when the Dalek regenerates itself using Rose's DNA for example. I think RTD may not involve any of the old companions, they might not even figure into this new re-write of the Dr's adventures. A lot of the old Who contradicts itself in a few places for example, he might want to avoid that kind of wrangling. He's got new adventures to write, new worlds to explore and new frontiers to conquer. This new series is taking us places that we never dreamed we'd see and it's all on our own back door. dingding100
Hi Kids, I'm back after a little stint in the Hospital. Found out that I have Atrial Fibrillation, http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4451. I'm 33 and I think a statistical anomaly. Oh well. Lots of time off work and no heavy lifting (other than the TV remote, heh heh heh). Tonnes of time to watch all of the Who episodes that I've dl'd. Nice... I've almost got the entire Tom Baker series. Thanks to tinpusher for uping all of those Big Finish Doctor Who's. Kept me from going crazy in ICU. Anyway, Nite? If this thread gets any bigger, can we start our own little forum? Cheers and Thx to God,
Antilles
Welcome back dingding, sorry to hear about your condition. But I envy you all that free time to do nothing but watch Who hehe! I wish I had broadband speeds back in 99 when I had a serious head injury coz I had about 6 months of not doing much I could have had a great time DLing and watching stuff! Glad to hear your still ticking tho. Enjoy the R & R!

Fenriswolf
As long as they're Dr. Who related and on topic *CACKLE* Oh and did you know that in the glory days of Patrick Troughton, he had a white TARDIS for a while?
Antilles
Well, Ill do mostly Dr WHo but Ill do pretty muh anything. White TARDIS? Was that in the Mind Robber?
GorunNova
I think it was, actually... and I thought it was just the film ^^'... maybe they did it to fit the black-and-whiteness better?
Fenriswolf
I believe it was designed because black probably didn't show up as well in the old days. Still a White TARDIS is really kind of cool, don't park it in a snowdrift though :>
Antilles
I know they painted certain things different colours as greyscale handled it better. But all I can think of is the episode of Mind Robber where almost everything was white, the robots, Jamies kilt etc, Ill have to re-watch and check again!
