S0V13T
But... yoda died in Jedi.... what...? Edit: Posted before I actually READ the article. Well, as long as the yoda movie is on par with revenge of the sith, Lucas has earned my $

daffydk
Yoda is ok except what I dont understand is how he walks with the little stick as if he cant walk, but then......when he is fighting, he is flying allll over like a basketball. whats up with that?? Either lose the stick or he should fight with the force, lighting, chocking people, etc..
Davros
oops just started a new topic and then seen it was already being discussed sorry!! But I say you can never have enough Star Wars movie!

dirtbox
I always got a little annoyed by that Kermit on crack thing with Yoda fighting. I put it down to using the force to backflip about. Reading a little more about it, it's set 88 years before ep 1, so he might even have hair :)
GorunNova
*snigger* Sorry, I don't mean any insult by this, Davros, but the thought of 'ensign Davros' makes me chuckle ^^'... I can't help it! Images of Davros in a cadet uniform screaming orders at his superiors fill my head ^^ Yoda is ok except what I dont understand is how he walks with the little stick as if he cant walk, but then......when he is fighting, he is flying allll over like a basketball. whats up with that?? Either lose the stick or he should fight with the force, lighting, chocking people, etc.. Could be his legs are very well suited for jumping, not walking. You may have noticed when he fights he ALWAYS jumps to move around, and NEVER walks. He can't very well jump everywhere, though, so thus the cane and the hobbling. Yammichi
I think it's a ploy to instill over confidence in his enemies....so they make a mistake.........
TetsuoShima
Either lose the stick or he should fight with the force, lighting, chocking people, etc.. He can't do that, those are dark side powers! Yoda is as light as they get!
starcrunch
I think Lucas is totally off base if this is serious, I would much rather see another Luke Skywalker movie set after jedi, and bring back Mark Hamill to play him as the new Jedi Master of the future. I think Mark would love to do it. I fell in love with the old characters as akid and it has been hard for me to get into these new movies as an adult, I think alot of that has to do with the fact that Star Wars is basically an intergalactic fairy tale, whereas Star Trek is more of a semi-factually based in the future show, which is where my head is these days, I guess I want to be challenged, either that or I'm just too much of a nostalgic type person. maverick
i love the idea of a series being made between movies 3 an 4. but id also like to see the founding of a new jedi order. thing is that woyld make a pretty boring movie. as it is tho, there willl be plenty of ideas for series until trek returns in anothe r25 yearslol
starcrunch
I don't think a Star Wars live action series would make it. The main difference between Star Wars and Star Trek is that Star Wars is more of a fantasy fairy tale type gig, wheras Star Trek is more of a reality of what the future could hold. As with anything though , if they did it right I'm sure they could make it work. After this new Star Wars movie came out I noticed something. I'm not as big a Star Wars fan as I used to be, and I guess that as you get older your taste start to change, and mature. I go in for more of the technical type stuff now and Star Trek makes me think. so I'm more of a Star Trek man now. I am just missing the old characters like Luke Skywalker I guess. If a Star Wars series were to be made I would watch it, but I also know that I haven't even seen all of the clone wars cartoons yet. and don't worry Maverick they'll have a new Star Trek sooner than you think, it's always been this way after a series ends, it's a valuable commodity, the franchise just needs to breathe for a bit. They could always make a series based on the Hazard team. And if Doctor Who can return after 15 years of haitus, then Star Trek will have no problem.
