For a really kewl/kreepy song, check out "A Wolf at the Door" by Radiohead.

*********************

i promise to be good

don't look in the mirror

at the face you don't recognize

help me call the doctor

put me inside

put me inside

put me inside

put me inside

put me inside

i keep the wolf from the door

but he calls me up

calls me on the phone

tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up

steal all my children

if i don't pay the ransom

but i'll never see him again

if i squeal to the cops

Yeah, you're right. The deeper you delve the more threads it creates.

If you listen to the French Big Bad Wolf song, a voice breaks in after a few seconds. But I can't quite make out what it says, only a few words.

The person speaking over the song is reciting a version of a poem by William Blake called "The Sick Rose".

The original poem goes:

O rose, thou art sick!

The invisible worm

That flies in the night,

In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed

Of crimson joy,

And his dark secret love

Does thy life destroy

But the recording changes some of the lines, which alters the meaning slightly.

Ohhhhhh, this is fantastic! But, nothing that hasn't already been speculated, though. I'm really happy that I was actually right about one thing, however, there was no Bad Wolf mention in Episode 1 - "Rose", and the nestine Contiousness shouting bad Wolf at the TARDIS WAS bunk. Unless, of course The BBC is screwing around....

/me Dosen't know WHAT to think, anymore.

The wording on the recording is :

{distortion} thou art sick

The invisible worm

That flies in the night,

Through the howling storm,

Has invaded thy crimson bed

And thus thy life destroyed.

The last line possibly says "And thus MY life destroyed" but I can't make my mind up.

Combine this with the hidden text on the disclaimer page, and it appears that someone is trying to warn Rose or make her aware of something.

Or I've taken the hoax hook, line and sinker.

Actually, I find the bad wolf page rather disappointing.

1) We have spotted all the clues, if that page is anything to go by. It would have been very, very cool if there was a tip for some other thing to look for, and that got us all scrambling to go back through the episodes we've already seen.

2) Even in the small confines of this site, we've covered more ground, better, than the site. Maybe it's just a little tip for folk who haven't noticed, but other than the tiny link at the bottom of the screen, only the butters like us are even looking for a bad wolf site.

No way, StevenofNine!

I think that, for right now, it's just enough to tweek our sense of curiousity and I bet more will come the closer we get.

Did anyone hear other voices in the recording on the homepage? Sounds like Rose saying something...

I like this with the disclaimer

"This website has been made by the BBC. It is placed on the Internet. The Internet is an information superhighway based on the sharing of information between computers using wires. The Internet is used by kind permission of GeoComtex."

That hidden message at the bottom sounds like it coming from Mickey.

What the heck did you want??? I thought it was pretty damn cool myself!!

I said exactly what I wanted, something that we, the geeks, missed. Seems like we missed nothing. :p

Have the episodes already been released on DVD? Otherwise what would be the point of any tip that would send us scrambling to rewatch the episodes? We're supposed to be watching it once on TV not d/ling it via the BT network! :p
