VonHelton
i think Franz Ferdinand is alternative rock..i heard it on 104.9 radio station which is alternative rock and i also listen to A Perfect Circle Since the 1990's, there have been a rash of groups that only put out a few decent tunes, then fade away....... Back in the day, we called these bands "One Hit Wonders", and they were frowned upon. I guess the music industry has become lazy like the clientel they keep! .......And to quote Def Leppard: "It's better to burn out, than fade away!" :stare:

I also like the harder and heavier stuff like In Flames, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity, Crematory..... Actually i could keep listing bands all night... Going to see Within Temptation play in Malmö (south Sweden) on Thursday.

You realize RAP has no musical origins, right? It started out as political free speech on street corners. :stare:
